Specialty Training
Specialty training is short, focused programmes on a single topic — awareness, regulation, scheme or technique — rather than a full auditor or implementer pathway. It suits teams needing targeted knowledge quickly. Delivered online, in-person and blended. MEGADEMİ currently lists 38 specialty courses.
What specialty training covers
Specialty courses answer a narrow question well. Typical subjects are standard awareness and transition, sector schemes, regulatory topics, sustainability and carbon reporting, validation, risk technique and process safety.
Most are shorter than the auditor and implementer programmes — commonly one to two days — because they are designed to be dropped into a working schedule.
They are frequently used as the entry step before a full auditor or implementer course, or as a refresher when a standard is revised.
Who it is for
- Teams that need awareness of a new or revised standard
- Staff whose role touches one topic — a scheme, a regulation, a reporting duty
- Delegates preparing for a longer auditor or implementer course
- Organisations refreshing knowledge after a standard revision
Typical prerequisites
- Most specialty courses have no formal prerequisite
- Some assume familiarity with the parent standard — the course page states this
Training and assessment
- Workshop exercises and a short end-of-course assessment where the programme includes one
- A course certificate or attendance record issued by MEGADEMİ, as stated on the course page
MEGADEMI-EUROTECH LLC is a Certified Training Provider of Exemplar Global and is listed in the Exemplar Global Client Register. Online, in-person and blended delivery, worldwide.
How to choose the right course
- Use specialty training when you need one topic covered, not a pathway.
- If the goal is to audit or to build a system, go to the auditor or implementer discipline instead.
- Awareness first, then auditor or implementer, is a reliable sequence when a standard is new to the organisation.

Corporate ISO trainingFrequently asked questions
How long are specialty courses?+
Most run for one to two days. Each course page states its own duration.
Is there an examination?+
It depends on the programme. Where an assessment is included, the course page says so.
Can a specialty course replace auditor training?+
No. Specialty courses cover a topic; auditor courses develop audit competence. They serve different purposes and are often used together.
