About ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Its distinguishing requirements are hazard identification and risk assessment, worker consultation and participation, control of change, contractor and procurement control, incident investigation and emergency preparedness.
Worker participation is not optional in ISO 45001, which changes how audits are conducted: auditors are expected to speak to workers, not only to managers.
